Shinrin-yoku
We will also have time to explore the forest and experience shinrin-yoku.
According to the ancient Japanese art of forest bathing, "the sounds of the forest, the scent of the trees, the sunlight playing through the leaves, the fresh and clean air — give us a sense of comfort. They ease our stress and worry, help us to relax and to think more clearly".
"Being in nature can restore our mood, give us back our energy and vitality, refresh and rejuvenate us".
The space
Historical property in the scenic Hepburn Springs area can sleep up to 24 guests across 12 bedrooms and offers 8 bathrooms (4 ensuite & 4 shared) with it's very own Yoga studio & sauna.
The building itself is nestled in amongst a private garden, fully matured and designed to evoke the natural beauty of regional Victoria, featuring many native species. The interior of the home is defined by its distinctive decorations and artistic flair.
All bedrooms come equipped with cosy king beds. These rooms are as eclectically designed as the rest of the home, their walls graced by cultural icons and gorgeous paintings. Rustic light fixtures give the spaces a unique warmth. Even the bathrooms share this eccentricity, with brightly coloured cabinets contrasting against clean white tiles.
Ducted heating and split system cooling ensure an ideal temperature whatever the time of year.
